Area Schools

The Gwinnett County Public School system is one of the reasons why living and raising a family in Gwinnett County is so appealing. Residents also have the option of enrolling their children in one of the area’s private schools.

The River Club is proud to support the North Gwinnett Schools’ Education Foundation and contribute to the achievement and success of the community’s children.  The Foundation was established to support academic programs for the public schools in the North Gwinnett Cluster.

School-aged children residing in The River Club can receive a top-notch education in one of the best school systems in the Southeast.   • Riverside Elementary offers many student enrichment programs, including music, physical education, art, math and Focus (gifted education), taught by specialists trained in each area of study.
  • The school houses four computer labs with five teachers certified in media and technology to provide instruction for all students.
  • The majority of Riverside's teachers holds master's degrees, and several have earned specialist or doctorate degrees.

  • This year, the Lanier Middle School Odyssey of the Mind structure team competed in the World Finals in Boulder, Colo.
  • Many teachers have more than two decades of experience. More than 50 have earned master's degrees.

  • For the past five years, students taking the SAT college admission test have scored well above the state average on both the math and verbal sections.
  • Three out of every five teachers have earned master's or higher degrees.
  • An array of after-school activities are available to students including JROTC, Gwinnett Student Leadership Team and concert and marching bands, as well as several athletic teams.
