The River Club Golf Course

The River Club offers world-class golf in a serene forested setting. Legendary player and designer Greg Norman has taken full advantage of the natural topography. The 7,212-yard, par-72 course features dramatic elevation changes and spectacular views of the Chattahoochee River Valley. A variety of challenges include 10 of the 18 holes that play across or along five large lakes.

At The River Club, preserving nature is a way of life. Because of our commitment to the environment, The River Club golf course has been designated a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.  The Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program is an education and certification program awarded to golf courses that take extraordinary measures to protect the environment.

Programs and Events

The River Club provides your family with a full calendar of golf events and programs, including couples’ golf, member-guest events, junior golf camps and after school programs, and Little Linksters golf introduction sessions for children aged five to seven.

Private lessons and swing coaching are offered from any one of the club’s three professionals.  The pros manage tournaments at The River Club and are responsible for designing special programs for the younger golfers in your family.  Your children and teenagers can benefit from introductory lessons, rounds with the pro, and junior play days at no charge.

Distinctions

Golf Digest recently rated the River Club as one of the best private clubs in the state of Georgia.  In addition, Golfweek magazine recently included The River Club as one of its Best New Courses and a Residential Course of Distinction.

Practice Facilities

The world-class practice facilities at The River Club offer realistic playing conditions in a peaceful environment.  A large putting green, short game facility, large full-swing practice and instructional tees are part of this full-service club.

Clubhouse

Emulating The River Club’s natural elegance, the design of our new Clubhouse is that of mountain lodges.  The spacious venue offers covered verandas, open pavilion gourmet dining, and fully equipped men’s and ladies’ locker rooms.
